I first met Zibby Wilder in 2020 after reading her blog post about the relationship between Dorothy Stewart and Maria Chabot. Zibby, also an Elizabeth, is a talented writer, artist, and adventurer who has become a dear friend and colleague in this journey. At that time, she had been researching HER relative Maria Chabot and since then, has completed her book of Maria’s life. We both chuckle about our serendipidous encounter, since we both believe our “girls,” as we fondly call them, had a hand in our meeting.

Her book, the title of which is still being developed, will be published by the University of New Mexico Press in 2027 and we are excited to plan a book tour together!
